# Student Leaderboard

The leaderboard ranks students by the XP they have earned across quizzes and weekend contests. It exists to make steady effort visible: a student who practises a chapter every week climbs the board, while a single strong result does not carry someone to the top.

Rankings update as results are recorded. Students can see their own position alongside the wider board, which gives a clearer sense of progress than a single quiz score in isolation.

## How XP is earned

- Completing chapter-wise quizzes, with XP scaled to the score achieved.
- Taking part in the timed weekend contests.
- Returning regularly — XP accumulates over the year rather than resetting.
